Fraud warning

We take every report and suspicion of fraudulent activity very seriously. Please read this page so that you know what to look for and what to do.

Why this notice exists

From time to time we identify companies that use our name, or names confusingly similar to ours, without our permission. This can cause confusion and spread incorrect information about Valorstead and its services.

We publish this notice for three reasons. First, so that anyone who comes across a look-alike site knows it may not be us. Second, so that customers know which channels we really use. Third, so that people who have been approached can tell us, and so that we can take action where we can.

Our official address

Our website is https://valorstead-ai.org. Our email addresses end with @valorstead-ai.org. Anything else is not us.

Cloned companies

If you think you are dealing with a company that is a clone, using our brand, name or logo, we recommend that you do not give out any personal information and that you tell us straight away by email at [email protected].

We work continually to identify every clone, but some may remain unidentified for a period of time. Customers should always check that a company is legitimate before sharing personal details or beginning any kind of business relationship online.

We are aware of cases in which our name and personal details have been misused for fraud, which we cannot influence or control. We are deeply sorry for the financial loss suffered by anyone who has experienced it, but we are not responsible for any fraudulent transactions carried out in our name.

How to check that it is really us

  1. Type https://valorstead-ai.org into your browser yourself rather than following a link in a message or advertisement.
  2. Look for the padlock and make sure the domain spelling is exactly right, character by character.
  3. Check the sender of an email. Genuine messages come from an address ending in our domain.
  4. Look for your anti-phishing code if you have set one, as explained on the security page.
  5. When in doubt, contact us using the details on our Contact page and ask.

Social media and messaging apps

We do not offer trading or investment services through private messages on social media, and we do not run giveaways that ask for a deposit first. Profiles that contact you unprompted and claim to represent us should be reported to the platform and to us.

Real-time chat groups that promise insider tips are a common route for fraud. Treat them with caution.

Warning signs

Promises of certain profit

No genuine provider can guarantee returns. Be suspicious of anyone who does.

Pressure to act quickly

Phrases such as "deposit in the next hour" are used to stop you from checking.

Requests for codes or passwords

We never ask for your password, 2FA code, recovery code or API secret.

Unusual payment instructions

A request to pay to a personal account, or in gift cards or crypto-assets, is not how we work.

If you have already paid or shared details: contact your bank straight away, change your passwords, and report the matter to us and to the Australian Cyber Security Centre or Scamwatch. See our security page for how to lock your account.
